Kamala Nimbkar Balbhavan

KNB_BULLETIN: India; The eighth standard students of Kamala Nimbkar Balbhavan (KNB) are full-time reporters! They keep on observing and taking notes of new programmes or events happening in and around the school. When such 8-10 news titles are listed, students sit in groups of 5-6 and work on writing the news. They try to construct sentences in English but may write some difficult sentences in Marathi and then use dictionary to translate. Teacher goes around the groups helping students. When the news items are ready, students type them, add photographs if there are any and then the bulletin is printed and displayed. Students also construct some conversational situations based on these news and present in the assembly. A bulletin comes out every 2-3 months. Rather than writing news of some imaginary event, here students get to write about real life stories. They have to keep their eyes and ears open to all the activities happening around and gather the details. Such bulletins once ready also become very important source of documentation of activities in the school. So here are some issues of KNB Bulletin for you! Happy reading!
